I have been ignoring Dubai on the blog in the last few weeks, but as you probably know, the weather is not exactly great for photos at the moment. But I did find an older photograph from an early morning in February this year when I went for a sunrise shoot with Mike, trying to catch the sunlight reflecting into the Burj Khalifa. Even then, we weren’t very lucky with the weather so most of the images were not that great, but I did come away with two bloggable shots, one of them being this one.
If you know Dubai, you’ll quickly recognise the location – the Ras Al Khor wildlife sanctuary, a popular hangout for flamingos (seen moving about and blurry in the bottom part of the image). Although the fence for the sanctuary tends to be in the way, it’s still a great spot to shoot the Dubai skyline.
