Ready to go fishing
When you live in this part of the world, one thing you learn to recognise quickly are the traditional boats called dhows which have been around for a really long time and can very in size from fairly small ones like the one above to huge ones which move merchandise from places like Dubai to Iran or Pakistan.
This particular dhow was anchored about 300-400 meters of the Omani coast close to a village called Aseelah. Between May and September these dhows go out for a couple of days to fish offshore and then are offloaded by smaller boats taking the fish to the waiting cars on the beach.
