Lately, every couple of months my mind wonders back to Japan wishing I was in Hokkaido again braving the freezing temperatures and enjoying the beautiful minimalist landscapes. Until I go back, I still have plenty of images from there I can blog like the one above. This is the Shirahige Falls (which translates to White Beard Waterfall) close to Biei which has a convenient bridge just above it from where you can photograph it as long as you pay attention to not slip on all the ice.
