As I mentioned a couple of posts ago, one of my aims for this winter in Dubai is to go out and shoot some of the same places I photographed 10-15 years ago and see how the skyline and the city has changed.
One other thing I want to do is photograph some of the new areas being built so I can return again in some years and see again how the city is growing. With that in mind, I came across this really interesting scene over the weekend while I was out with the new 30mm T/S lens from Fujifilm. It was like all the cranes had been purposely arranged in such a way to frame the Burj Khalifa.
I will post one other image from here in a few days to show you the difference between now and 15 years ago (hint: there’s a lot more buildings).
