Sveti Stefan

Driving through Montenegro last year on my way from Dubai to Romania was a fairly quick affair. I was coming after a few days spent in the mountains of Albania camping and on my way to a hotel booking in Dubrovnik in Croatia, so I drove through Montenegro in the same day, briefly stopping along the coast and for lunch in the cute town of Budva. Just before (or maybe after, I can’t remember exactly) Budva I drove past this beautiful island called Sveti Stefan, which is a resort in its entirety.

Although I think the angle is a bit too high in this photograph (I didn’t really have time to look for a better vantage point), I still think it’s worth a post as the scene was just so peaceful and inviting.
