The desert’s umbrellas
Continuing with my goal of catching up with posting images from older trips that never made it to the blog, here is a photograph I made in March last year (2015) while on trip with David and Issa to Masirah Island in Oman.
If I remember right, this was photographed on our way back just after getting to mainland Oman and I actually have a couple of shots from this spot, some pointing towards the setting sun and some pointing towards the opposite direction. I think I prefer this one, but I’ll post one from the other direction in a few days and see which one you like more. Oh and if you didn’t recognize the trees, these are acacia trees, a very common type of tree in this part of the world.
