The edge of the forest
About a year ago, I was waist deep in snow in the Northern part of the beautiful Japanese island of Hokkaido. We spent a couple of weeks photographing beautiful winter landscapes and trees bending under the weight of snow.
This particular photograph was taken close to the side of the road, after going behind the first tree line and finding this perfectly arranged forest meeting a blank canvas of deep snow.
