Although I have been trying to blog a bit more often, I have been delayed for a couple of weeks because of some intermittent issues with my website. For many years (about 20 now), I have been hosting my website with MediaTemple and unfortunately they were bought by GoDaddy which meant a period of transition which has not gone very well. I will spare you the technical details, but the result was that my website kept having connection problems. These are hopefully sorted now (and the website should be quite a bit faster), so normal programming can resume.
It’s only fitting in a post dealing with technical hosting issues (which will hopefully become much easier in the future) that I post a photograph of the Museum of the Future, a fairly recent addition to Dubai’s skyline. It was made with a long lens from the DIFC side and I really liked how the curved building stands out against the straight lines.
