Unless you’ve been living under a rock on the dark side of the moon for the last couple of years, you will know that the Burj Khalifa (formerly known as Burj Dubai) is the tallest building in the world. There are quite a few planned buildings in this part of the world aiming to take this title away with the most outrageous one being the Kingdom Tower in Jeddah in Saudi Arabia rumored to be shooting for the 1 kilometer mark.
Until then, I wanted to capture Burj Khalifa in a vertical panorama standing tall above everything else. I was lucky enough to do this in a day when Dubai looked mystical being completely covered by a thick blanket of fog. Those of you who visit often will have already seen my foggy Dubai series here, here, here, here and of course HERE.
From a technical point of view this shot is made out of 3 vertical images stitched together with Photoshop.
This image will look amazing in print so if you fancy something new for your walls get in touch (contact details at the top of the page).
