Tokyo Tower

Continuing with images from my recent trip to Japan, this is an early morning, just before sunrise photograph of the Tokyo Tower as viewed from Shiodome. If you look closely to the right of the tower you can also see the Mount Fuji in the background almost covered in clouds.

The Tokyo Tower is 332 meters tall and it’s quite an old structure as it was built in 1958. An interesting detail about the tower is that it’s repainted every 5 years and it usually takes about 1 year to complete the job.
