For many years I was jealous on the Canon 17mm tilt-shift lens as the widest Nikon had available was 24mm. So it’s been extra rewarding the last couple of months to have access to the new 19mm tilt-shift from Nikon, allowing me to get new angles on old locations.
One great example is this shot of the Tornado Tower in Qatar. It’s a fairly tall building and there are not a lot of angles you can shoot from without having all sorts of distractions in the frame – except for this close-by sidewalk from where I could just about fit the building in my frame.
