The summer weather has truly arrived in Dubai and the humidity is making everything feel like a wall of hot water. So it’s that time of the year when your mind wonders off to better weather and more reasonable temperatures.

Just a few months ago I spent a few days in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico and although the Cancun area feels very very touristic, Tulum had a more relaxed feel to it with small hotels right on the beach where you could just spend a whole day doing pretty much nothing. This was the view from our hotel, complete with photogenic palm trees and crystal clear water.
