Winter skies
One thing I’ve always been very careful with is the backup of my images. They always live on at least 3 different drives (out of which one of the drives is a RAID system) so you can imagine my surprise when I almost formatted the memory card with this particular image without copying it on my machine. I was in the Dubai Investment Park for a meeting a couple of weeks ago and noticed the Dubai skyline looking really spectacular under these beautiful clouds. So I made my way through a desert road to get some elevation, shot a couple of images and forgot about them.
Luckily I checked the card just before deleting everything, otherwise I would have lost an image I quite like!
