Desert patterns #1
As the weather starts to cool down in the United Arab Emirates, the camping season is approaching fast and quiet evening next to the camp fire in the desert are something we can all look forward to again. Considering the crazy year we are having, summer spent in the UAE was actually not that bad. I think because we were forced to stay here the entire summer, we got adjusted to the hot days even more than usual and we ended up spending quite a bit of time outside. Having said that, camping is not really an option in the summer here, so I can’t wait to wake up again to a view like the one above in the middle of the Rub Al Khali (the Empty Quarter).
I will probably never tire of photographing the beautiful sand dunes, particularly through a long lens. There is always a surprising angle to be found!
