If you’re living in the United Arab Emirates, you would be pretty aware of the few storms we have recently had with huge amounts of water, crazy tides and hail in the desert. Photographically speaking, this is great as you don’t get very often a chance to photograph the country in these sort of conditions. Yesterday afternoon I decided to go out into the desert knowing that the sand will be very hard from the rain and it would be super easy to drive through it getting to places that normally are a lot more difficult. I ended up spending quite a bit of time around these trees, playing with the GFX 50s against the setting sun.
