If you’ve been following me on Instagram, you might have noticed I’ve spent the weekend in a beautiful location high-up in the Hajar Mountains of Oman in a place called Jabal Akhdar.
It’s a spectacular part of Oman with great weather – to give you an idea, in the summer, the temperatures rarely go above 28 degrees, while at the bottom it’s at least 40. The image above is looking down towards the canyons and valleys below and although it was a fairly simple image to edit (a couple of strong curves for contrast), I did bring the clouds from a photograph taken a few minutes later looking towards camera right as that’s where the clouds were. I tend to not blend in clouds in my images, but for this one I felt it added to the photograph and since the clouds were there, but just slightly to the right I thought I’ll go for it.
