Photographing camels in the desert is one of those things that anybody that has ever been to the desert will do. It’s not always the easiest thing to do and this time, while I was in the Empty Quarter, I tried not to get too close and just look for interesting vantage points that would show camels against the enormity of this empty desert. The dunes here easily reach 200-300 meters so the camels tend to travel through the salt flats between the dunes (essentially valleys between mountains of sand).
