The Howraman Valley
It’s almost a year since my Dubai to Romania road trip and to be honest it’s very difficult to not just get into the car and do the whole thing again. It was such a spectacular journey, with so many adventures and beautiful places that I’ll probably still think about it for many years to come.
This Saturday from 11.50am I will be sharing some of those adventures and stories (including some previously unpublished images and videos) at the Photography Live event taking place at the World Trade Center exhibition center. It’s a day full of really interesting talks so if you’re even remotely interested in photography you should definitely think about attending.
As for the image above, I photographed this in the remote Howraman Valley in North-Western Iran, close to the border with Iraq. It’s a spectacular area full of incredibly friendly people and exciting roads like the one you see in the photo.
