There’s nothing fancy about today’s shot – just a camel posing in front of the camera with the huge expanse of the Rub Al Khali (Empty Quarter) desert behind it. I miss so much these wide open spaces that we are lucky to have here in the UAE and the wider region. I was speaking with a friend yesterday and I mentioned that probably the first thing I do once the lockdown is finished will be to take a 2000-3000 km drive through Oman or Saudi Arabia just because I can. Or spend a week of kitesurfing in the South of Oman, getting thrown around by the monsoon waves.
