Continuing from the previous post of incredible peaks in Northern Pakistan, today it’s Rakaposhi’s turn, a spectacular peak that feels so close when you are driving down the Karakoram Highway and yet it rises all the way to 7788 meters. The reason why it feels so close is because it is the only peak in the world that slopes almost 6000 meters, without any interruptions all the way to the base.
I have a couple more similar views of Rakaposhi, but with quite different light conditions so I will probably post a few more images from here in the coming days.
