Room to grow

Keeping up with the blogging momentum after taking such a long break, I wanted to share with you this photograph I made recently while on a commercial assignment in Abu Dhabi.

I’ve been visiting Abu Dhabi since 2001 and like Dubai, the city has grown tremendously. There has been a big push to build new areas on Abu Dhabi’s many islands and this gives you a good overview of how much space there still is for the city to grow more. I’m sure in another 15-20 years this entire area will be full of highrise buildings and this photograph will look similarly old to this shot I took in 2007 of Dubai.
