Dubai Marina
Today was an unusually nice summer day in Dubai with blue skies (those of you who have visited Dubai in the summer will know the usual grey, boring sky). So I took my camera and went down to Dubai Marina to try and take some photos of this brand new neighborhood that was not there 5 years ago. I am very happy with the results and I will post photos from there over the next few days.

Elephant Trunk Hill
This is one of the most famous sites of Guilin and hundreds gather here at sunset to take pictures of this hill that resembles an elephant drinking from the river. You can’t really see it from this angle but the cave at the left of the hill actually goes all the way through to the other side.

I felt that the old design of the blog was getting a bit too busy for its own good, so in the last few weeks I have been working on a new, simpler design that puts more accent on the photography and less on social bookmarking tools (mybloglog, dopplr, twitter etc.). I have also reorganized the categories, making it simpler to find the places you are interested in. As always, if you do spot any problems, leave a comment and I will take a look at it.
With the new design I am also introducing the new Momentary Awe logo!
Enjoy!
