The end of the year is near so as always for the last 9 years, it’s time for me to write a blog post with my favourite images I blogged throughout the year – a couple of the images are shot at the end of last year, but only blogged in 2017. Like in previous years, I will stick to 12 images from my personal work, but unlike before, I will also post a separate post with my favourite client images I’ve photographed in 2017.
2017 has definitely been a year when I traveled less than in the previous two years. I’ve only been to nine countries and only two of those were new for me – Cuba and Seychelles. I did manage to go back to Japan which was definitely a highlight! The biggest thing by far in 2017 is us waiting for our first baby who could arrive anytime now! I’m sure that will involve a few changes in 2018! 🙂
Another notable thing this year was being shortlisted in the Architectural Photography Award and traveling to Budapest to see the opening exhibition which had two of my images. Also, the blog turned 10 years this summer which I still can’t believe!
On the commercial front, 2017 was much busier than the year before and I did get to shoot for a few really interesting new clients like Apple and W Hotels, but more on that in the next post.
So without further ado, I wish you a happy and peaceful 2018 with your loved ones and as always, I would love to hear which ones were your favourite images this year!
